Terms of service

Attention asks the AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews) questions you choose, records their answers, and measures whether your business was named. Depending on your plan it also publishes structured data, updates your website, and writes blog drafts for your approval.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must have the right to act for every business you add. Adding a business you do not represent, in order to publish content to its website or to audit it as a prospect, is a breach of these terms.

Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Pay for a year up front and save 20% on every plan. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax you may owe.

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months, because the measurement for that month has already been run and paid for on your behalf.

If a payment fails we will keep trying and will not switch off your monitoring immediately. Losing a week of measurement is not recoverable, and we would rather chase the card.

Each plan includes a stated number of businesses, tracked searches, scheduled audits and blog drafts. These are enforced rather than advisory. If you exceed a limit, the service will decline the addition and tell you which limit you reached. It will not silently bill you more.

If you move to a lower plan, what you already have stays: existing businesses, searches and published content are not deleted. You will not be able to add more until you are back under the new plan's limits.

Anything Attention writes for you, whether structured data, page content or blog drafts, is generated only from facts on your own business record and your own website. It does not invent reviews, prices, credentials or results, and it is checked against rules that flag claims a business should not make about itself.

You approve every change before it is published. Because you approve it, you are responsible for what appears on your website, and you should read it, particularly in regulated fields, where a sentence can carry obligations we cannot judge for you. Generated text is not legal, medical or financial advice.

Content published to your website is yours. You can take it down at any time, from within the product or by removing it yourself.

We report what the engines actually said, verbatim. We do not control those engines, their models change without notice, and their answers vary between runs and between people. We therefore promise accurate measurement, not a particular result.

Nobody can guarantee that an AI assistant will recommend a business, and we do not. If you are told otherwise by anyone selling this category of product, that is a claim worth being sceptical of. Your plan includes control searches, measured but deliberately never optimized, precisely so you can tell our effect from the market's.

Do not use Attention to publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or that impersonates another business. Do not attempt to reach data belonging to other customers, or to work around plan limits. We may suspend an account doing any of these, and will say why.

You can cancel or delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting removes your businesses, measurement history and hosted sites. That is immediate and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

We can end this agreement if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering the service. If we stop, you will have time to export your data.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
